Skydance Restructures TV and Streaming Leadership After Merger
· Entertainment · United States
JB Perrette, co-chair and chief business officer of Skydance TV and Skydance Direct-to-Consumer, unveiled his new executive structure and announced several departures from the pre-merger Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Skydance entities he now oversees. The reorganisation follows the Paramount-Warner Bros. merger that created the combined company. Warner Bros. International TV Production, which operates around 20 production companies worldwide making international versions of formats such as The Bachelor, will move under Skydance TV Studios under the new structure. The unit, led by President Ronald Goes, will be overseen by Channing Dungey. Perrette also left an opening pending for the leader of Pluto TV, and multiple former direct-to-consumer and streaming executives are exiting.
Why it matters:The reshuffle shows how the Paramount-Warner Bros. combination is consolidating international production and streaming operations, a template other merged studios may follow.
