HF Sinclair's INNOVATE launches direct-to-chip cooling fluid for AI data centres
· Lubricants & Chemicals · United States
INNOVATE, the advanced liquid cooling brand of HF Sinclair's Lubricants & Specialties business, has launched INNOVATE DTC25, a propylene glycol-based direct-to-chip cooling fluid. The company said the fluid was developed in alignment with the Open Compute Project (OCP) Base Specification. The product targets the fast-growing data centre cooling market, where direct-to-chip liquid cooling is being adopted to handle the heat loads of AI servers. The launch places a lubricants and specialties producer into the data centre thermal management supply chain, an area increasingly served by chemical and fluid makers as AI computing density rises and air cooling reaches its limits.
Why it matters:A lubricants and specialties maker entering data centre liquid cooling shows how AI infrastructure demand is opening a new, fast-growing market for chemical and fluid suppliers beyond traditional fuel and lubricant applications.
